About Darwin

Darwin is an initiative of Somaiya Trust and Somaiya Vidyavihar in honour of Charles Darwin. Darwin will stand alone as the premier platform where 200 bio-makers exhibit their projects over the 3 days of Maker Mela'19. Our aim is to introduce the mentors, researchers, entrepreneurs and all the visitors to the recent discoveries in the field of biology.

Visitors at Maker Mela'19 will experience Darwin through exciting speaker sessions, projection mapping, augmented reality, and virtual reality simulations. On top of this, be prepared to witness 'Symphonia Vitae: The Symphony of Life', where 'microbial music' will be introduced to the visitors.
